Nicklaus Signature Course

The Nicklaus Signature Course at St Mellion is the resort’s headline test and a true “must-play” for Cornwall golf breaks. Opened in 1988 as the first Nicklaus Signature course in Europe, it’s a demanding par 72 that stretches to around 6,300 yards from the championship tees.

Expect bold shaping, strategic bunkering and water that asks big questions at key moments — including a famous three-hole stretch often likened to an “Amen Corner”. Tight tee shots and well-guarded greens reward disciplined course management, while the finishing holes provide a strong, memorable close back towards the clubhouse.
