PGA Golf Course

The PGA National is England’s only PGA-branded course and offers a distinctive inland-links style test at The Belfry. A par 72 measuring 6,921 yards, it plays firm and fast in dry conditions, with rippling fairways, bold contours and dramatically undulating greens that can turn a simple approach into a real challenge.

The defence is the bunkering — cavernous traps positioned to catch tee shots and punish lazy angles into greens. It’s a course that rewards creativity: flighted irons, controlled fades and clever run-ups often beat all-out power. For golfers on a stay-and-play break who enjoy a modern, athletic layout with plenty of bite, PGA National is a superb contrast to more traditional parkland golf.
